How do CRM & ERP fit into Microsoft Online Services?

(Stephen Parker, Head of Cloud Strategy)

Microsoft have stated that currently 70% of all R&D effort is focused on the Cloud and during FY2011 this will increase to 90%.  So what is happening with CRM (currently locked in as a North America and Puerto Rico only option for CRM Online) and ERP with nothing available under MS Online Services?

Well there is lots going on as you can imagine.  Not all of it is in the public domain and some of what is being discussed is pure speculation.  But rather than me add another spin on the story let me hand you over to Mary-Jo Foley (a long time and well informed Microsoft watcher) for her recent article “Microsoft seeks to unify its coming Microsoft ‘Union’ Services, ERP and CRM wares”.
