Microsoft BPOS Volume Discounts

(Stephen Parker, Head of Cloud Strategy)

For many people BPOS (Business Productivity Online Suite) is targeted at businesses with a small number of users.  However for those looking at larger deployments there are discounts to be had as shown in the table below.

Pricing band Seat Count Discount Per Seat Price/month
1 up to 249 0% NZD 17.25
2 up to 2399 4% NZD 16.59
3 up to 5999 10% NZD 15.45
4 up to 14999 18% NZD 14.15
5 15000+ 24% NZD 13.10
Also note that if your purchase takes you into a higher Pricing Band then all licences are at the discounted rate e.g.

249 seats (Band 1) @ NZD17.25 = NZD4295.25
250 seats (Band 2) @ NZD16.59 = NZD4147.50 (i.e. NZD147.75 less per month for an extra seat!!)

This example uses New Zealand Dollar prices. For your local pricing go to the Microsoft Online Customer Portal (http://mocp.microsoftonline.com).  NB you do not need to login to MOCP to get pricing, simply:

1. Ensure that you have selected the correct location for the pricing you need
2. Click on “View service details”
3. On the next screen click “Cost Estimator” next to the service you are interested in
